#305 Def Leppard @ London Royal Albert Hall (March 25th 2018)

I'd always meant to get to one of the Teenage Cancer Trust concerts (the first one being way back in 2000) but for some reason never did. That is not to say I have never been at the Albert Hall. Back during the 6 months or so when I was reasonably cool (sometime in the the mid 90's) I saw the Little Angels and Eric Clapton here (although in truth it is harder to not see Mr Clapton at this venue). Those two shows seem like a lifetime ago although I did have afternoon tea here with my lovely wife a few years back...not very rock n roll admittedly.

#160 Def Leppard @ Dublin O2 Arena (June 12th 2009)

Support: Whitesnake / Journey / Tesla

A great triple bill.....well actually it was a great quadro bill (Ok I have no idea if that is actually a term or not. If not it should be) but Tesla were on far too early for me to make and so I had to make do with the three bands. A shame really as I would love to see Tesla live however I get the feeling that they will be a band that won't be over in Ireland too many times.

#84 Def Leppard @ Dublin Ambassador Theatre (February 10th 2003)

Some bands are made for the big stage and Def Leppard are definitely one of those. I have seen them in arenas and stadiums and it is there where they belong not small venues like the Ambassador. Great venue though it is I think it's not an environment that brings out the best in the band.
